Client:	Mark Construction Company Longwood (Orlando metro area), Florida Major force in the Florida construction and contractor industry, specializing in the aviation, banking, commercial & industrial, education, government & institutional, and metal building market segments.
Project:	Design corporate logo, and redesign Web site
Implementation:	August, 2002, with major updates in 2005
Problem Statement and Challenge	The existing site had significant content, but was plagued by poor navigation and organization. It was characterized by unbalanced color choices, out of focus graphics, inconsistent fonts, "stock" clip art which did not fit the corporate image of a major construction firm, and a "template" look and feel. In addition, the management wanted to showcase their many construction projects, in various market segments.
The Solution	Redesign into a more lively, easy-to-navigate site for this major construction firm. The redesign was developed using Macromedia Studio MX, including Dreamweaver MX, Fireworks MX and Flash MX. The new site presents a professional, up-to-date Web experience and impression of the firm, and provides potential clients with essential information about the company, as well as an in-depth portfolio of about fifty completed projects. It also describes the experience of the company, detailed references, contact information, and more.
